I was at the Raleigh show the other night, and I wanted to say it was a great show and it really brightened my day up, I was having a terrible day and decided to come to the show even though I was sure if I could make it. It was completely worth it. I got to be right under Rogue most of the show and during Marilyn my Bitterness I was the one he grabbed and sang to and the second person he picked up on stage (the girl with the dreadlocks and corset).

You have no idea how happy it made me to have those things happen. The Cruxshadows have been such an inspiration to me and give me so much to be uplifted about. Especially when things are tough. I wish you all well and wanted to make sure you all know that you're an amazing band and great performers. They're aren't many bands that actually connect with their audience and make them feel like they're apart of what's going on. Personally I hate being a spectator, all the interaction from the Jessica, Sarah, Valerie, and Johanna was great. Keep up the amazing work and have a great rest and New Year, you all deserve it.

Hi!!! I was amazed by your show in Raleigh. I doubt that any concert that I'll ever have the chance to go to will be able to top it. Every member of the band was amazing.

I was a little shocked when Rogue chose me to do the spinny dance thing in the crowd, after all, he is one of my heroes, and there were alot of people in the crowd! But it was amazing, despite the fact that I thought it was a dream, lol!

I dearly hope that you come to Raleigh again! I'm determined to see all of you in concert at least once more. ^_^

U guys probably(Jess & Rogue in particular) probably don't remember me at all. But, i worked for/with the Carpe Noctum in jacksonville,NC @ the Arena Sports Bar years back and i still have been following the wonderful work u all have been doing!
U sometymes may not realize how much you and ur work means to people and can even save thier lives. I went through some rough tymes and I got to say, if it wasn't for ur music, i wouldn't b typing u this! For that (and i know it seems like i singled one single person out, but using the bands name didn't seem appropriate lol) when my 2nd son who was fighting for his life throughout my pregnancy was being born, i played Winterborn. And, named him Rogue. In honor of the work u ALL do and being there for ur fans sooo much! Ur words touch and inspire us all in many ways u can't imagine.
Even when i had brain surgery done last May(on my second son's bday at that!)and ppl weren't sure if i was goin to make it, i made them play b4 i went under till the surgery was done; Return which strangly put many at ease. they knew what the song meant to me.
Just remember when the going gets tough-u make a difference in this world and in others lives through what u do and say!
Doing a great job everyone. keep up the work! Hope to c u guys this year. if not then, next tour.

The New York show was AWSOME. wow that place was small but the energy and being that close to Valerie and JoHanna all that time was great. I was on the right and got bumped several times by Val. My wife hates driving and crowds, but I got her hooked on you this past year convinced her to drive from Iowa City to Chicago to see you last night. It was the most amazing performance either of us has ever experienced. We listened to Frozen Embers (which heretofore I'd not been able to find) over and over all the way home wearing our new Cruxshadows t-shirts and alternating between singing loudly (and badly on my part) and calling our friends and family to tell them how we'd gotten a hug from Rouge after being pulled on stage at the end of Marilyn, My Bitterness. Hey, I've only see you guys twice, at the last two Dragon Con's, in Atlanta. A friend told me, when he got in my car 4 years ago, check this out. As I told Rogue when I came for a picture this year, on comes Carnival...I was hooked. I've never looked forward to an event a year away like I did right after Dragon Con 2007, it was the only thing I had planned for this year, and I was, of course, not at all dissappointed.

After many years with no chance to visit concerts (we enjoy 2 little gothics aging 6 and 9 years now) it was a really perfect new beginning! For us the very personal and familial touch of the Stuttgart show was extraordinary and outstanding! We've been really impressed that all of you performed a really great show despite the little audience - so we could even more enjoy it. In addition Rogue walking and dancing thru the crowd and hugging everyone goodbye was amazing! Your new violinists sound fantastic, I can't wait to see them if you come back to Arizona. Rachel's talent was one of the things that kept me coming back for more. My husband reads alot of John Ringo. He saw "Winterborn" referenced and went to find it on YouTube. And then showed me about a week ago (ie, around the 20th of April, 2008).

I thought "OMG! There's an 80's band I haven't heard of before!" (being an 80's tragic)

But you aren't an 80's band, you are around now, and I am already *totally* addicted.

Your CD's are hard to get in Australia, but I've found a source and have ordered. Can't wait to get my first one!

So.... when are you folks going to come to Australia???

Also, thankyou for giving me the word "Darkwave" - now there is a word for all the 80's music I have liked for so long.

I "discovered" y'all from a book I was reading. The auther sujested a song list to have playing while reading the book. Winterborn was the song he sujested to play during the climatic end sceen. I adore your music and you as a band as your songs speak from the hearts of many people and you always perform an outstanding show. This is what people love you for. But I'm afraid, you are about to endanger your appeciation in Europe by appraising your succsses in the U.S. as this is not that important to European fans. If they like you, they do like you irrespective of any chart positions you are gaining and have gained over there. Do not spoil this by always pointing out your climbing the ladder. I can imagine it's quite a succsess to be that successful as a "dark" band in the U.S. but it is not that important over here. There are plenty of bands competing with you. Stop repeatetly pointing out your German hasn't improved. We don't care. Your music and your show speak for themselves. Do not create the impression to be willing to learn German except you are really willing and can present some effort at your next show. We Europeans/Germans love you but be more "European" when you are performing over here, because not everybody has learned about the American mentality at school and therfore is able to understand it. No questioin, you are one of the best bands on this planet but I just felt you maybe needed some help with European culture. Sorry.

I discovered your music via an anime fandom almost four years ago, and I still haven't got enough of it. I'd never even heard of 'darkwave' back then, and believe me, you have completely ruined me for other darkwave bands. ;) The lyrics and the unique sound is what did it for me, really. The lyrics are just made of win, and have inspired so many thoughts and stories over the years it's almost frightening. Any hopes of seeing you in Finland the next time you tour? Just returned from Dragoncon and have to post what a wonderful experience for me to meet the Cruxshadows. They were truly the highlight of the convention. The performance was wildly awesome!! And the band members are all such really wonderful people. They spent many, many hours making themselves available to the fans (picture taking, signing autographs, performing and just talking). The new single 'Birthday' is beautifully poetic. What great lyrics in all their songs!! From the first instant I met ROGUE it was evident to me that he is a compassionate, sincere, intelligent, loving, and sooo creatively deep being who truly cares about all living creatures as well as the environment in which they live. I just attended Dragon Con this past weekend (well it's actually still going on - as I post this) and I just met frontman and founder of Cruxshadows "Rogue" and I must say I was very impressed by his sincerity and non-judgemental attitude of the curious and naive. I'm from the 'old-school' of punk music - familiar to the likes of "Skinny Puppy, The Dead Kennedys, Wendy O'Williams (God, rest her soul!), The Smiths, Missing Persons, The Cure, and anyone who 'rolled' through CBGB's of NYC! I truly enjoyed our conversation as I am a "newbie" to the sounds of Cruxshadows! Rogue answered all my questions about the band's influences and musical likes and dis-likes. I found this man to be intelligent, re-freshing, and very knowledgable about punk and new-wave movement of the late 70's and early 80's! (ok so i'm showing my age!) Most of my favorite punk artists, mellowed out and are creating grammy-award winning New Age Music! Just check out Patrick O'Hearn keyboardist of the Missing Persons! I digress.... Rogue made me feel welcomed, like I met an old friend. I've been listening to the CD's that Rogue recommended "Birthday", The new CD of which the title escapes my mind & an older CD with Echoes in the title and I have to say I am very impressed by the sound of this band and I love what I have heard so far! I look forward to seeing this band in concert tonight or tomorrow morning (which ever way you look at it!) Upon hearing their sound, I now know there's hope for the future music scene! (referring to the homogenized/pasturized/plastic-ized (sp?) top 40 (finger down the throat) music scene of the common every day man) Rogue, thank you for putting together such a talented group of people and assembling them to create an incredible, delectable sound through an eclectic choice of instruments! hey there. i guess you look in here from time to time while you are on tour. rogue, we never have any time to talk (or maybe you have not that much interest). i wanted to tell you and the band one thing and that is that you made a really good album, the dreamcypher one. i listened to it a lot the last days and found that it is better than all the last 3 pieces you made, maybe the best since the mythery of the whisper. I like how guitar and violin got more again (i guess george will love to hear that...). It feels more like cxs again somehow, more important and clear that the ones before. Hey guys....my sister and I saw you on the 12th of mai 2007 in hamburg...and we were both so fascinated that we realy would like to thank you!!! such kind of concert we've never joined before...there was so much "humanity" in it. great how you entertained the "audience" and cared about "us"...I think we all felt like a part of you...this equality between us...and the "sincerity" that was brought over by you still fascinates us/me. actual we wanted to say all of this after the concert to you...but I think our english wouldn't have been good enough to tell you what we realy have/want to say :( so...you/your message reached us and we can't wait to see you again....please come back soon to germany....hamburg...or maybe lübeck either? that would be closer =p greetings, jenny & bianca

I was at your show in Malmö last night, it was the best show I've ever been to (and I've been to a couple of conserts). It was insane, please come back soon!
